DevOps Garfield

This is a typical first project for many people. It's a small, simple model that is ready to print.

1. Download the file from Thingiverse. When you click the download button, it will take you to another section of the same page that lists the file(s) available to download. In this case, we only have 1 file ( .stl ).
2. Click the download button next to it.
3. Extract the contents of the zip file. If you downloaded a .stl file, then you can skip this step.
4. Open tickercad.com. I assume you have already created an account. If not, do that now.
5. Click the Create button to start a new TickerCAD project.
6. Select the 3D Design option
7. Click the import button
8. Find a select the .stl file for your model

You now have a model in your project. Let's give the project a name. At the top left corner ( next to the colorful square ), you will see a random 2-word name. Click on the name to erase it and give it a new name.

Let's call this project Fall Pumpkin. Then press enter to save the name.

1. Select the text tool on the right and click somewhere on the build plane.
2. Change the color to Orange ( Hex Code: FF5F1F )
3. Change the text from “TEXT” to your initials ( eg. MD )
4. Rotate it to stand up next to the stem.

Your model should look like this. If so, you are ready to prepare for printing.
